K2 Communications Announces TiVo DVR availability

It has been a while in coming for all of our customers but we have been driven by striving to make the right choices not only for our business model but also for our customers.

As we prepare to launch an all digital solution for our cable customers, we are currently able to provide our customers with TiVo DVRs. These DVRs are revolutionary to say the least and no doubt will permanently change the way you watch television.

Once we have completed our digital solution, these same DVRs will also serve as set top boxes. DVRs will be available on a first come first served basis and will be $24.95 per month. Come on in to the office and demo our DVR anytime.

K2 Communications Announces completion of the Digital Conversion Process for Local Broadcast Stations.

While the rest of the Nation is in turmoil and Congress has just extended the deadline for the completion of the Broadcast Digital Transition, K2 Communications, LLC has announced that they have completed the transition for their customers.

Our customers are very important to us and we work hard to ensure that they receive High Quality, State of the Art services from us. This federally mandated transition has been completed and we are already retransmitting these services to our customers. In addition, we did not feel that it was right to charge our customers more for this service as they were already receiving these channels and it didn't seem right in this economy to add insult to injury by charging them more money without really adding to our service offering.

K2 Communications Announces that all customers with Standard Definition Televisions will not be required to purchase Digital Conversion Boxes to continue receiving broadcast channels.

Switch to Digital - The FCC has mandated that all television programming be digital by Feb. 2009. This does not mean that analog viewing is no longer available, it merely means that the reception of programming through the air can only be via. Digital Signals after February 17th, 2009.

K2 Communications will be making this transition at our Headend Facilities to accommodate this change for our customers.  K2 customers DO NOT need to purchase the convertor box or purchase a new TV set to continue receiving cable programming as they always have.

NOTE:  Programmers will be testing their signals prior to February 17th, 2009, please do not be alarmed if you see static on your television sets or if you are advised that your TV set is not ready for the change to digital during these tests! We will have all equipment in place prior to the switch over date.
