How to Use Your Cable Service and Equipment Compatibility Notification

Viewing Extended Basic Cable Service on Your Television

Extended Basic cable service contains your local channels from our "Lifeline" service tier and a wide array of the most popular broadcast networks. Extended Basic cable can be viewed on any cable ready television or tuned through a VCR. Our cable system utilizes the VHF band of channel frequencies from channel 2 through 72. Your television or VCR owner’s manual will state the VHF channel capability. If your television set or VCR will not tune VHF channels up to and including channel 72, you may need to purchase a standard converter from a local electronics merchant.

Blocking of a Specific Cable Service

Upon request, the company can entirely block the reception of both the audio and video on a specific channel on which programming is provided. A truck roll charge may apply.

Billing and Complaint Procedures

Billing Procedures

K2 will mail an invoice to you monthly in advance of the service month.  It will include an itemization of the amount due for the current billing cycle plus any past due amount. The total of these amounts is the amount due the company. The K2 billing cycle runs from the first day of the month to the last day of that month. Should your service begin on any other day than the first day of the month, you will be charged a daily pro-rated fee for the first month of service. As programmers are paid in advance, disconnection of service at any time during the month other than the last day of the month will not be pro-rated.

Payment Due Date

Payment is due upon receipt and no later than the 10th day of the service month. Payments not received by the 10th, will be assessed a late fee of $5.00.
